Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method

Prepare the chicken breasts by patting them dry with paper towels. This helps the seasoning stick better and allows the outside to cook nicely in the air fryer.
Place the chicken breasts in a bowl and drizzle olive oil over them. Rub the oil evenly on both sides so the spices coat the chicken well.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, oregano, and chili powder. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts and gently rub it in to cover all sides.
Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes so it reaches the correct cooking temperature. This helps the chicken cook evenly and keeps the texture juicy.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer with some space between them. Cook until the chicken is tender and fully cooked inside.
Turn the chicken halfway through cooking so both sides cook evenly and develop a light golden color.
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and allow them to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with vegetables, salad, rice, or your favorite side dish.
