Method
Pat the chicken tenders dry using paper towels. Removing excess moisture helps the seasoning stick to the surface and improves the final texture.
Place the chicken tenders in a bowl and drizzle olive oil over them. Gently toss the chicken so the oil coats all sides evenly.
In a small bowl combine garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, oregano, and chili powder. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken tenders and mix gently so the spices cover the chicken evenly.
Add breadcrumbs to the bowl and lightly coat each chicken tender. This creates a crispy outer layer when cooked in the air fryer.
Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes so it reaches the proper cooking temperature.
Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Leave space between each piece so the hot air can circulate properly.
Turn the tenders halfway through cooking so both sides cook evenly and become golden and crisp.
Remove the chicken tenders once they are fully cooked and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces or side dishes.
