Step 1 – Preparation
Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels. Removing moisture helps the wings become crispier during cooking.
Step 2 – Seasoning
Place the wings in a large bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with seasoning.
Step 3 – Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 3 minutes. Preheating ensures even cooking and crisp skin.
Step 4 – Start Cooking
Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 380°F for 12 minutes.
Step 5 – Flip the Wings
After 12 minutes, flip the wings using tongs. This helps them cook evenly on both sides.
Step 6 – Final Crisp
Increase the temperature to 400°F (204°C) and cook for 6 more minutes until the wings become golden and crispy.
Step 7 – Serve
Remove the wings from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
